tiny progress

 
Well I just came back from the OB. And the magic number is…. 2. I am 2cm dialated and the baby is really low. He could feel the baby’s head before he measured me at 2cm. He doesn’t seem to think that I will last the week and that I will be having this baby before my next appt on the 20th of August. I really hope so! I don’t want to be pregnant anymore and I am more then ready to meet this little one. It figures…. my OB is going on vacation next week for the entire week so if I do go into labor someone who I have never met before will be delivering this baby. That sucks because I really like Dr. Jones, but he said that whoever is picking up his cases is really great so I’m hoping so. It would be amazing if I went into labor tomorrow. So here’s hoping.

Chris and I are going to Babies R Us on Saturday to get the swing, the vibrating chair and the tummy time mat. Those are the last couple things and they will be on sale for us since they are off the registry. I am excited about getting them. I can’t wait to have the swing all set up in the living room… just one more thing to remind me that there will be a baby in the house soon lol.

Molly is still in Pitts. I don’t think she is planning on coming back until Monday. I miss hanging out with her but we have been texting back and forth. She is really excited about my being 2cm. Chris is a little disappointed…. he was hoping that I was around 3cm or more. I’m hoping that my body really decides to go into labor some time soon… blah. I can feel the baby’s head way down low, it hurts to walk around because my netherlands are so sore. UGH! Come on little one… mommy and daddy want to lay our eyes on you!
