the phone call finally came
So the day that I have been waiting for finally came. ROB CALLED!!!! I was lying in bed…. trying to decide if I felt like getting up and I hear my phone ring. I look over expecting it to be Chris because he still feels bad about treating me like shit…. again, but it was that long number that I always wait for. I pick up the phone and it is so nice to hear his voice! We got to talk for almost 2 hours, but it seemed to go by so fast. He is getting kicked out of where he is staying now, they are moving him to somewhere more dangerous which I am not very happy about, but its not like there is anything that I can do. The thing I am most excited about…. he is going to send me his dog tags! I have wanted them since he left and I finally asked him about them today and he said that he was going to send them to me. Now I have something else of his to wear. I have the bracelet with the two rings on it of his that he gave me… I haven’t taken them off since he deployed and I won’t until this deployment is over, plus the hoodie he gave me and his belt… and now (when I get them) his dog tags! I am so happy about that.
We talked about so much, how he is, how things are, what is going on with me, what is happening when he gets home, school, work, his work, the crazy things that he has been doing over there. I got to hear him laugh, I got to hear his voice…. it couldn’t have been more perfect. He said that he started smoking again, and I wish that wasn’t the case but I can understand why he picked it back up. He is so looking forward to drinking as the first thing to do when he gets back… and even though deep down I wish that he would have said the first thing he wanted to do when he got home was see me, I can understand his need for booze as well. He did say that he is thinking about giving that up after about 6months to a year of being home. Which puts my mind at ease because he does drink a lot sometimes.
I hope that he gets to call me again soon.
I went to my friends birthday party last night…. John is a week older then me that jerk. He turned 23. It was a small party but I did have fun. I drank one Smirnoff, but nothing else. John is insane so it was a good time and I got a good hug out of him when I was leaving so that was nice. I can’t believe how long I have known John…. since 1-2 grade. GEEZ! I wish that Army Chris could have come but I text him throughout the whole thing so it was cool. John got Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stuff… he is such a kid at heart.
The little one that I watch is sick so I haven’t been to work since Tuesday… which sucks because that means a lot less money for me. I am down to $100 and if I don’t get to go tomorrow then I am down to $60 which sucks because I can’t do anything with $60 short of get some gas and pay part of my cell phone bill.
I made something really awesome for Rob but now that his address has changed I have to wait to send it. I will post a picture up here at some point.
Chris really treated me like total shit the other day and now he wants to talk about it…. I don’t want to get into it, but I know that he won’t leave it alone.
The money finally came through so now I can finally register for my classes for this semester. I have a week til I turn 23 but that is nothing that I am looking forward to, there are about 2 weeks til I go back to school, I have a meeting for work on the 29th, I am going to Virginia with the family I babysit for on the 31-2, and I am hoping that this last small part of the summer goes by quickly. Once school starts back up it will fly to All Hallows Eve, then Christmas and then March and that is what I am hoping for.
I guess that is really everything that is going on. I guess since it is 1pm already that I should go get a shower and try to get some things done.

*hugs* he’ll want to see you! But I know the 1st thing Tim always does is find a bar in the airport or orders a drink on the plane! Think bout this there’s a certain amount of time he has to fill before he can see you!
