the 4 day has come to an end

 Its Tuesday… the 4 day weekend is over. It was long and short, I got things done that I wanted and things that I wanted didn’t get done. All in all it was a good weekend. I wrote about yesterday in my NoJoMo chapter so if you want to know about it then go read it there.

Hubby and I just got home. We left the house a little after 1pm so he could go to practice. Candice and I went to Walmart so she could get her toes done and I could buy slipper shoes since I don’t know what happened to my last pair. I found a black and gray stripped pair for $14. Not bad. Then we drove around for a bit and came back and listened to them play the set through. It sounds pretty good so hopefully the gig goes over well. Tom, Candice, Chris and I all sat around and talked for a bit after and then Chris and I went to get food. We tried out a new place called On The Border. It was pretty good and we had a great time.

From there we walked to Barnes and Nobles. We are soooo addicted to that place. Its a good way for us to blow a lot of money on really awesome stuff. Hahaha. Anyway… I got a book and a 2009 planner, I also got a new toy for the baby I watch and Chris got a book and a sudoku puzzle book. Hehehe I got him addicted lol. Mwahahahahaha!

And I also got my chai tea. YUMMY! And I just remembered that I have a scone in my purse. I might just save that and take it to work with me tomorrow.

Tomorrow is going to be super long. Not only do I watch the baby tomorrow but I also watch the twins and their brother tomorrow night. Busy bee I am.

Tomorrow is also the challenge to write down your day step by step so its going to be a long entry tomorrow. I think that I have done pretty well with NoJoMo. I have only missed 3 days and I made up for each one and considering how sporadic my entries were when I started, I am doing pretty damn good.

I can’t believe how fast time is going by. November is almost half over. Its insane, like I turn around and miss half the month. Gah… where does all the time go? I wonder. Maybe having a job makes everything go by faster…. both good and bad. Nothing I can do about it, just hold on and enjoy as much as I can and prepare the whole while. Yeah I know… I shouldn’t dwell but you know what… this is my diary and my mind and I will dwell on the deployment if it helps me cope and it does. I am going to start a list in the upcoming months of all the things that I want to get done on the deployment, but I want them to be meaningful, I want it to be something that is going to make more then a week or two to accomplish. So I am going to have to think about it for a while.

And speaking of things that I need to think about….. my Christmas list. I know that people are going to start asking me a million times…. so I need to start writing things down as I think of them. 43 days left until Christmas.

But more importantly… there are 9 days left until Twilight comes out!!!!!

I can’t wait!!!!!!!
