running all over the Bragg universe

I will be so glad when I finally have the money to go OD plus again. All these stupid ads are making OD load so slow!

I see that I have been slacking with my updates. Well, something is wrong with my ring finger… its swollen and red and hot and painful. Last night it was screaming so badly that I could hardly sleep. It would just throb incessantly. I tried to go to the dr. but after the Army giving me the run around it was either go to the ER or wait until the 3rd of September to be seen by my PCM. So I opted for my PCM and I will just have to deal with the pain until then, though it is very hard to type with a swollen finger that is part numb and doesn’t bend well.

Aside from my typing difficulty everything else has been going well. Chris and I had a great weekend together. We got started buy the pieces of our entertainment center that we picked out and it looks better then I even thought it would. Chris bought me a new cell phone since my phone seems to hate me.

That should be coming in the mall soon. I think that presents are also coming in the mail as well. My birthday is 4 days away. I will be 24. Old! I am still not done school and I am not pregnant but considering where I started out in life at the beginning of 2007 I really can’t complain. I have more now then I have ever had and I am truely grateful for that. I just think that I am starting to get to that age where a birthday isn’t any big deal. I get a year old. Hurray! *insert dry sarcastic tone here* Though this will be the first birthday that I have actually had a significant other care about it, so that is an interesting and welcome change.

Still no luck in the job front but I just saw a Babies R Us so I have considered applying there. Before the end of September I plan on applying to UNC Pembroke and though I am nervous I am also excited about it. It would be a nice change of pace to have something to do.

The apartment is coming along. The washer and dryer are still the biggest things that we need but I think that if i could obtain a job it would help us out a lot.

We just stocked up on food again and I have a lot of new recipies to try out and I am excited about that. I think i will try a new one tomorrow!
