perfection

 

I’ve been waiting and hoping for a phone call now since he left. I have only gotten those 2 emails from him Friday. Until today!
I got my first phone call!!!!!! I can’t believe it had been since Friday at 5am that I had heard his voice and then there he was…. 11:46am for 6min and 15sec. The most amazing 6min and 15sec since this deployment started. It was so good to hear his voice, it made my whole day. Every time I think back to the phone call it makes me smile from ear to ear. Damn I miss my husband.

He sounds ok…. stressed and tired. Some of his bathroom things were stolen and he still isn’t done with the travel, he has maybe 1 more stop but then he should be where he is supposed to be and will be able to have regular access to the internet, hopefully. Ahhhh I can’t believe that I got a phone call already…. I can’t believe that I heard his voice. It was perfection.

My friend Jess got me a 7 day pass at her gym so I’m hoping to start going soon. I’m going to another friend’s house, another Jess lol, tomorrow. Her hubby is deployed with mine. She is getting ready to do some traveling and I wanted to see her before she left.

Bets is coming down to Bragg this week…. she and Luc are having issues again. He is talking divorce and she is coming down to hopefully work everything out. We will see…

Blah…. I hope the rest of this week speeds on by. I have so much going on this week which should help and I’m trying to get stuff going on the weekends too. I hate sitting at home with nothing to do. Today has gone by so fast… I can’t believe that it’s almost 3:30 already but it helped that I was able to get out of the house. I have to get ready to send some care packages, I have letters I have to write, I have to have Nicholai’s invitations in the mail pretty much the day that I get them which will hopefully be at the end of this week. So much to do…. lol
