oops…. OD slacker reporting in

Wow has it been a while since I’ve written anything. Way to slack it up. Heh..

But I have good reason, its been crazy busy around here. Chris and I just got back from our weekend in Jersey. It was great! We left kinda late on Thursday night and ended up getting to Jersey around 2am I think. The drive wasn’t too bad… though there was a point in DC where there were no rest stops and I didn’t know if I would be able to make it to the bathroom. Ugh pregnant woman hell…. 3 hours is too long to hold my pee apparently lol. Friday was busy. Chris and I slept in a little bit and then it was busy busy busy since that was the day of the baby shower. I was running around to try and find some cute stuff for daddy since that stuff is hard to come by. I went to the Acme and had a cake made especially for Chris which he liked. I had a surprise for him too, something special that I made for him. 

The shower consisted of Nina and her daughter Hailey, Ashley and her son Evan, Sam stopped by for a while but we spent more time with him Sunday, John and his gf Erin, Ashley, Eileen, and then all my family… mum and dad, David, Rebecca and her bf Kyle, Allison and her bf Eric, and the MIL. Needless to say my parent’s house was packed! We had a BBQ which was so good. And then after my mum, Rebecca and Kyle finally got back to the house (Becky and Kyle had to be picked up from college about an hour and a half away) we started the presents. We got so much stuff. I don’t know how we got it all back in the Ion. Chris and I both realized without a doubt that we are going to have to get the new SUV because there just won’t be room in either of our cars…. my trunk is bigger then his and even that will be tight. The little nudger is so spoiled already lol. Here are some pics.

I couldn’t believe everything that we got. We stayed up really late that night hanging out… Chris and I, Allison and Eric, Rebecca and Kyle and my little brother David and Becky’s friend Melissa…. we were up til about 5am playing board games lol but it was so much fun!

Then Saturday Allison, Eric, Chris and I went to the Music As A Weapon tour with Chimaira, Lacuna Coil, Killswitch Engaged and DISTURBED!!!!!! OMG was the concert awesome! I have some pics of that too!

It was great! And toward the end the lead singer walked by us not more then 5 feet from us! It was awesome! I bought Chris a Disturbed T-shirt and the new Lacuna Coil cd! It was great.

Then Sunday was all about hanging out. We had water ice, Wawa (there aren’t any Wawas in NC) watched Bolt with the fam. It was just a chill day with everyone so that we could all hang out since I hadn’t seen my family in almost 5 months. But then it was over and hubby and I had to get back to NC. We left later on Monday then we wanted and hit a little traffic but the drive wasn’t too bad.

Now that we are back things aren’t going to slow down. We have an OB appt next week, hubby’s band has an event to play at, we move to our new apartment *squee* on the 14th, we have the hospital tour… everything is going to be crazy. And once June hits I will have 2 OB appts a month. There is so much to do and we are still getting ready for the little nudger who is still growing and doing well… moving more and more everyday. I’m 23 weeks…… on my way to the 3rd trimester.
