My eyes surrender to the dark,

sleep overcomes me,

my mind drifts off to a new life,

to a place full of imagination,

peaceful and serene,

my heart desires this world,

to be wrapped in these arms,

to be surrounded in this love,

a glorious escape,

pulling my heartstrings,

holding me in this moment,

and I hope that it lasts forever,

because I never want to leave.
