mommyhood is amazing

I can’t believe it… Nicholai will be 2 weeks old tomorrow! I can’t believe how fast time has gone by. I love being a mommy. I love every second… even the lack of sleep. He is just the most amazing little boy. I couldn’t imagine having any other boy, Nicholai just fits perfectly into our family. We went to Jersey for a couple days and he tolerated the 7 hour car so well. We only stopped 3 times on the way up and twice on the way back. He was such a little trooper.

Breastfeeding is the most amazing experience. I couldn’t imagine not breastfeeding. The first week was really hard and it was kinda painful but once my milk came in and I got him latching on the right way it has been so much better. Apparently my grammommy was right and I am a milk factory just like my mum. I leak so much that even feeding him and pumping isn’t enough to keep up and I still leak through my nursing pads lol. But that just means that I have enough milk for him and that is what matters. It feels amazing to have him sitting there, looking up at me as I feed him. It is just the most amazing experience.

I don’t want to sit on here for too long… I want to get back to Nicholai but I have some pictures to post for you all 🙂

So there are the pics of my little monkey! I will post more later and I will write more later. I just can’t get over how amazing motherhood really is. This is what I was born to do… I was born to be a mommy. Life is more then perfect…

I LOVE LOVE LOVE those Pumpkin PJs! I simply MUST buy some when I get paid. These pictures really make me miss my little baby. *pouts* Just read your front page. I used to be a cutter. I haven’t done it in 8 years now. One day it just becomes natural that you won’t be cutting anymore. Good luck with that. I really hope it works out for you. 🙂

he’s such a cutie pie!!! I have some encouragement after reading what you wrote about breastfeeding- so it’ll get better next week? I hope so, I’m having such a hard time getting Ashlyn to latch and with no milk yet I’m wondering if I’m even doing it right, if she’s even getting anything worth value- it’s SO hard, you are so right about that!!

He is so so so adorable!! I loved all the pictures! Thanks for the note. I miss breast feeding I only did it for 2 months. I lacked in the milk supply and it super stressful for me. I’m happy its going so well for you!! Mines only 5 months old and I already miss the newborn strage. TAKE TONS OF PICTURES!! I didn’t take enough.
