Lost Embrace

Almost five years ago today,

that spark of life was stolen,

your beautiful smile used to shine so bright,

even though times were rough,

your laughter rang out in the night,

the embrace that made problems disappear,

taked away so violently, so abruptly,

much too soon to experience life,

leaving behind people who love you,

who miss you even now,

eyes that still fill with tears,

just thinking of your gorgeous face,

never the same in the lack of presence,

hoping that you are happier now,

you live on in the hearts of others,

especially mine.
