crossing things off the list

Well the week has gone by kinda slow. I did finally get my permanent crown put on so I don’t have to worry about that anymore. My mouth is still sore but it was worth it. It looks great.

We are getting ready for this little nudger. We started picking up the stuff that we don’t have yet…. let me pull that list over.

  • monitor
  • first aid kit
  • body wash
  • shampoo
  • baby oil
  • alcohol swabs
  • diaper ointment
  • vaseline
  • newborn diapers
  • wipes container
  • travel wipes
  • sunshade for other side of the car
  • swing
  • bouncy chair
  • tummy time mat
  • pack n play
  • crib
  • changing table
  • dresser
  • crib mattress
  • mattress pads
  • mattress cover
  • fitted crib sheets
  • changing table pad
  • basket/storage bins
  • books
  • toys (like rattles and such)
  • nursing bras
  • nursing shirts
  • disposable nursing pads
  • breast cream
  • boppy with couple covers
  • breastfeeding shawl
  • bottles
  • bottle brush

We weren’t going to get the changing table originally, but it wasn’t really that expensive and it has a drawer and 2 shelves on it so we can get some baskets and store things on the shelves which is important because we can’t use the dresser for much storage space since the closet is pretty much full and we need the dresser for the clothes. We still owe around $400 on the furniture and the only thing they actually had in store was the crib so we have that and are putting it together on Saturday!!! I’m so excited! I totally forgot that we had a $50 gift card to Target and a $50 Visa gift card so we are going to use them to buy the little things, like shampoo, vaseline, powder and things like that. I’m trying to figure out what to wait til the last 2 weeks before the due date to get because we get 10% off the stuff that is still on the registry. 10% isn’t much but any money that we can save is good.

This little one is kicking me to death lol. And I don’t know how much more my poor bladder can take. I’m glad that this little one will be born soon, my poor body is having trouble keeping up. My back has started hurting as have my ankles. And I find myself feeling more tired then usual. So cross your fingers that this baby decides to come early lol.

I am so excited for July. Molly’s husband Justin is coming home for R&R! I am so excited about it. She said that Justin wants to touch my tummy and she thinks he will get a kick out of feeling the baby move lol. And toward the end of June Allison and Eric will be here! I’m excited to see her… I miss my sister lol. Hubby wants to wait to put up decorations until Allison and Eric get here so they can help. I am so excited!!! The summer has been great so far and its only going to get better!
