Closed eyes,

blinded by lies and deception,

shrouded by a veil of sin.

even when open they still can not see.

Closed eyes,

assure a closed mind,

resistant to change,

in denial about the truth.

Closed eyes,

a horrible affliction,

polluting the world,

drowning out the light.
