cleaning freak… taking a break

 Well I got up late this morning since I woke up really early yesterday and did A LOT of work around the apartment. I think we are down to 4 boxes that haven’t been gone through and have to get either stored or put away and everything else is away. There is still some organizing that I have to do in order to be fully done but I have a really good feeling that by the end of the week

I did finally tackle the room that Riku is locked up in. I swept, sprayed the floor, sink, tub and toilet with cleaner, cleaned out the litter box again, cleaned out the carrier that he peed in and then sprayed down the floor, sink, tub, toilet and the litter mat with a water and vinegar mixture so we will see how that goes. I left the door open and put a leash on him so he doesn’t have to be shut away from everyone and lonely. I still can’t let him go out and walk around… the carpets were just cleaned and I don’t want to chance him peeing somewhere. Both of the cats have a vet appt next week so when they go in I will have them look at Riku one more time and if they still don’t find anything then when my sister comes he is going to have to go back with them. I’m out of options and leaving him chained up is just terrible.

There are about 5 loads of laundry that I’m in the middle of doing and then that will be caught up. I have to get to the commisary and I’m going to try and do that today but its already almost 2 and I don’t know how much I will be able to get done. I want to be done by the weekend so we can just relax and enjoy the new place. Come the end of June I will be able to start the baby’s room. I’m waiting til after this last shower and then we will know what we have to buy and can really get started. I can’t wait.

The little nudger hasn’t been nudgeing me too much over the last 2 days but I’m trying not to worry. I still feel the baby moving around so I know that the baby is ok, its just not as strong or as often. I’m sure everything is fine… I mean we are only 11-13 weeks away, Goddess wouldn’t let something happen, I fully believe that.

Ok… break over… back to laundry and cleaning since the loads int he dryer and washer are about done. Its so nice to see the apartment becoming our home. I can definitely see us living here and raising a family here for the next 3 years or so as we save to buy a house. Its all coming together now… life is great.
