Captivating Love

I was asked to write something a little less depressing. As I was looking around for inspiration I came across this picture.

The room engulfed in darkness

the only illumination a flickering candle

I feel your hands glide across my face

as we sink into a delicate bed of petals

our eyes meet and your love burns  through my soul

your breath blows gently against my cheek

my lips meet your neck

your eyes slowly shut

heart pounding in your chest

passion that can not be contained

this love we share with endless bounds

keeps me alive and keeps us breathing

soak in this glorious sensation

inhale this scent of romance

let this moment never end

for you are the one who holds my heart

and I will forever hold yours safe

as we lose ourselves in falling petals

and the feeling of our touch.
