can I breathe a small sigh of relief?

So I was having a bad day today… working on my paper was killing me, but I finally got it all written. I got to work early and was sitting there waiting for the kids to get out of school so I could start work. Then all of a sudden my phone starts to ring… I don’t usually get reception at work so I was surprised that it rang at all. Then I look at my phone and see the area code…

It was ROB!!!!!

So he hasn’t left for Iraq yet. When he told me that I instantly felt this huge weight lift from my shoulders. He isn’t leaving for Iraq til later on…. thankfully. Even if it was only one more day in Kuwait I would still be happy, it would mean one more day of deployment down in safer territory.

We didn’t talk long because I was at work. GRRRR but it was amazing just to hear his voice. I told him how I had finished my paper and he was so cute… he sounded more excited then me that I had finished. I love the way he loves me.

I won’t be able to work at this school next year I have a feeling. From the sounds of it the catholic school is taking it over and they don’t think that they will have enough money to pay for Sean and I to keep working there…. so I am out of the school that I have worked in for the past 4 years…. away from the kids that I watched grow up for all this time. That hurts my heart because I love those kids. But… Sean also told me to ask for the supervisor position at another of our sites through Haddonfield Child Care. If I got that position it would be amazing. I would ask for $12 an hour and I would only have to put in a couple extra hours, but it would be worth it for $4 more an hour. I am going to wait for school to end and see what happens.

Hopefully I get to talk to Rob tomorrow…

My English Comp 2 paper is officially done and printed… 10 extra points for me!!

Two more weeks til my semester from hell is over!
