Broken Wings

These wings that once held me high,

that let me soar over the pain,

are faltering under this burden,

no strong enough to handle the hurt,

they crumble as I fly,

they are struggling,

but the fight is in vain,

my wings are broken,

leaving me plumeting to my fate,

waiting for impact,

falling forever,

waiting and hoping,

will someone rescue me?
