babies and no sleep

I am so tired and I think that I have found the solution to my inability to sleep. My babysitting summer job came through on Sunday. I started on Monday. I make $160 a week and I get there at 6:30am and stay til around 3pm. That means that I have to wake up at 5am. And running around with those kids is enough to tire me out. Nasir is 2 and he isn’t potty trained yet… he is off the wall insane and is everywhere at once. He is also adorable and a sweetheart. The first day that I was there he fell asleep on my lap with his hand on my face and he wouldn’t fall asleep unless it was there. The baby, Rashawn, is 9 months old and he is a clinger! He won’t ever let me put him down unless he just ate or just woke up and then he is off crawling at 100 mph. He has fallen asleep on me more times then I can count. Atleast 3 today. In the morning when I get there neither of them are awake so I can sit and watch tv, read, study for the Praxis. I am trying to get them into a routine… but its pretty much run them until they are too tired and then let them sleep.

Running after these two has me so tired so I pretty much fall asleep although I got home at 3 today… so I don’t know how true that will hold. Monday I didn’t get home til about 9pm since I was trying to bond with the babies as much as possible. I fell asleep after about an hour of reading. Then up at 5am to shower and run out the door. But now that I am home and its 5:10pm I don’t know what to do with myself… I am beat but if I sleep now then I will be up all night. And I can’t afford to be cranky when I am taking care of the babies.

I also went by the airbrush shop today and the guy there said that he would do it for $40 bucks. I am going to wash the shirt tonight and then tomorrow I am going to take it there after work. I think the plan is to have the really adorable picture of Rob and I kissing and put that on the back with a flag in the background and "Real Army Love" written across the bottom. I hope that it turns out the way that I picture it in my head and I hope that Rob likes the picutres that I send to him about it since I haven’t told him anything about it.

When I got home from work Alli and Eric had decorated the front window with flags and banners and support our troops and happy 4th posters. I almost cried. Ugh… the 4th of July is going to be hard…. I know it. Its only Tuesday, but it feels like it should be later in the week, but that is because I am so tired.

I guess I should go read more of the book that I am addicted to…
