an attempt to get back to normal
I didn’t feel like doing any of the challenges that are going on right now, thought it was time to update everyone on how things are going.
It seems that he is deploying near the middle of January. I can’t believe that November is almost over. Two months from now he will be deployed. I can’t believe it. I’m still trying to think of things to do everyday that will help pass the time. I have thought of some things. Molly said that she has ice cream and lots of movies waiting for us since her husband is deploying in the beginning of December. Its nice in a way to have someone to go through this with. I’m sure we are going to be spending lots of time at each others house.
Chris is looking for a laptop. He says that he wants nothing but a laptop for Christmas so that he can talk to me while he is depoyed. He looks at them every day, and every time he does it makes me sad but its also just so cute because he is doing it for us.
My car went into the shop today. It seems that the battery was dead. I decided that I might as well get my transmission flushed and get my oil changed. I’m hoping that it won’t be more then $400. I worked an hour and a half of overtime today so thats an extra $30 plus I babysit for my other client on Thursday so that will be another $20 or so. I’m planning on looking for some more clients to watch at night in the next month or so. Maybe I will pick up some weekend clients too, because the weekends will be the worst for me.
Thanksgiving is coming up. It will be nice to see my family again since its been a long time since I’ve seen them. I’m not looking forward to the 7 hour drive though, and we are leaving at midnight so its going to be a really long night.
I have to get ready to send out Christmas cards…. so for my favs that want me to send them one….. I need you to private message me your address.
And Twilight comes out in only a couple days!!!!! I can’t wait!
Guess that is all I have to write about…. gotta get to bed soon since I have to be up early and I have a lot of running around to do… get my car, go to the commissary, go to the PX and run to Target.
… don’t be afraid, sometimes they come true! … music is my life
it will be good for you to have someone to go through the deployment with. that always helps.

It’s hard knowing that they’ll be leaving soon. Even with everything going on, it’s hard for me knowing that Caelan will be deploying again in January. It’s kind of overwhelming, isn’t it?

Glad you will have a deployment buddy. Picking up more babysitting jobs will definately help the time fly by.
