a great weekend (so far)

I was in such a bad mood at the end of the week, and things just didn’t seem to be going my way. I was afriad that the general trend of things was going to continue into the weekend. I was so wrong. My father did come home on Friday night, but I have said about 5 words to him all weekend and it’s Sunday already so things are going well with that.

It started snowing last night around 5pm and its about 11 am now and its still going. . . as far as south jersey is concerned that is a lot of snow!! I have some pics and I will post them at the end 🙂

Anyway. . . Geoff, Alli, Eric, Hilley, Lindsay, John and I all went out to the car show in Philly last night. We took the train in the snow which was interesting and then walked the 5 blocks from the station to the Convention Center for the show. It was so funny, the whole group of us, half lost wandering around Philly. We must have been a sight. The trip on the train was nice, Geoff and I had a conversation about us, and it was nice to just talk to him about things that have been on my mind about the history of us. I still wish in a way that we had gotten together in high school, but thinking about what Geoff said maybe it really was for the best that we didn’t. We are a better couple this way. We both would have missed out on a lot of "couple experience" if we had gone out with each other then.

We got to the car show, thankfully there weren’t that many people and I could stand to walk around, hehehe! I got to see some great cars, even sit in a 2006 corvette, OOOooooo that was so nice. Wish I could own that car, but I suffer enough with my car payments now let alone buying a brand spanking new car, HA my wallet would never survive that.

I even sat in the family car that I want. Its a 2005 Yukon Denali, a big SUV. Geoff took a pic of me in it, he said that I look like a midget in it, It would be funny to see me barreling down the highway, kids in tow, in that huge thing. But it has some nice features, side air bags. . . hey, whats wrong with looking for safety when you are thinking about kids.

And when I say thinking about kids I mean in the next 5 years or so!!

I also got to see my ultimate dream car. . . a Dodge Viper!!! Gorgeous!!!!!!

We walked around the car show for about 3 hours, looking at all the shiny cars that we will never be able to afford. And decided that it was time to head home. So outside we all go, back into the snow which is still coming down. We make it to the train and Geoff and Hilley get picture happy. It was so much fun, and it was the first real car show that I have ever been too, short of the small ones that are outside of Wawa or Fuddruckers or something like that. It was a great time.

I guess that brings me to now. . . its still snowing outside, and Geoff is on his way over. I might go out in the snow, I am not sure yet. If I do I will take pics of it so you all can laugh at me. Hehehehe!!!! Maybe I will do my homework since it’s due tomorrow?! That might be a good idea.
