2nd ob appt

No… I didn’t draw this, but I wish that I had because its beautiful!

I had my 2nd OB appt today. It was amazing. I was able to hear the heartbeat again. I love that sound… it is just amazing! The appt went great. I was able to see the baby move today! Thats right… the little baby inside me is moving around. Arching the back and waving the little hands and feet around. It was so adorable. I can’t believe there is a little baby moving around inside me, its amazing. I am so in love with my little one already. I can’t believe it. I saw little fingers and an arm, the feet and toes, a leg, the profile, the umbilical cord. Looks a lot more like a baby this time as opposed to last time when the baby looked like a kidney bean.

They screened for Down’s Syndrome markers this time. Everything checked out. My next appt is on Rebecca’s birthday, March 12th. I will be 16wks then. They would be able to tell me the sex of the baby but I don’t want to know. They should also be able to tell me that everything is formed and where it should be then which is what I am most concerned about. I am just so excited! Chris wasn’t able to come with me this time, but I have the whole ultrasound session on VHS and I can keep bringing the tape back to record more each time and watch the baby grow. I can’t wait for the next appt!

Other things…

Well the oh so wonderful Army wanted Chris to deploy to Korea for most of March. Yeah… he just got back from WLC and is supposed to deploy in October but they wanted to send him to Korea. Heh… the Army. BUT… he applied for a new job today and got it! So now he doesn’t have to go to Korea anymore and there is a slim chance that he won’t be deploying in October anymore. I’m not going to get my hopes up about that, but I’m so glad that he isn’t leaving in March. I mean, he just got home.

So who knows what is going to happen now. I am just going to keep thinking he is deploying in October. I think that is the safest way to think.

My grammommy is coming to stay the weekend with us. Chris has a show tomorrow. Torn December is the headliner…. so people that come are coming to see them! I am so proud of him. If you go to myspace.com/torndecember you can hear one of their songs. That is hubby singing just incase you were wondering. They have about 4 shows lined up over the next 2 months. So we are going to be very busy these next couple months. There is just so much going on but it is all great and wonderful things and I couldn’t be happier.
