The first full week of October is almost over. I have been so busy doing so many things so I kinda can’t believe that it is Friday already. Chris and I haven’t been able to talk online that much since TWC, the cable company that we have sucks major hairy green donkey balls and can’t seem to keep the internet up. How is it that my husband’s overseas internet is more reliable then TWC? That is pathetic. I’m going to go over there later today and demand they take money off the bill because I’ve had issues with internet for atleast 10 days and then today the cable started messing up and I’m so over this.
Chris is still going crazy over this budget which I guess is a good thing. I’m all about getting on a budget and it will really help if we are on the same page. The book talks about not having and debt and that using credit to buy things is bad… you just need to save and save until you can pay cash for it. Which is fine for things like buying furniture and little things for the house, but to buy a house in cash?! That is not something that we can do, not and move into a house any time soon but I think that buying a used car for Chris in cash is something that we can do after we get a house. Maybe I should get a job…. somehow…. some way…
Nicholai is starting to get a little attitude. He throws his head back and screams and cries and arches his back and throws himself on the floor. Oh yeah… he is going to be a super fun 2 year old. HA! Doom on me. I try not to pay any attention to him when he is like that. I don’t have time for temper tantrums, I don’t want to feed into them. One of the moms in the mommy group said that she is reading the book "The Happiest Toddler on the Block" and that it is helping her and her daughter because she has tantrums like that too. Maybe I should look into getting that book. I’m all for learning what I can learn about parenting.
Ok… nap time isn’t going to last very much longer. Atleast I don’t have to worry about dinner really. I have tortilla soup in the slow cooker going for me and left overs to warm up for Nicholai. As much as I stressed over it before I really can’t wait for Chris to be home so I can cook dinner for family again…. *sigh* almost half way through this deployment.
I have always thought little of the credit system and never use it myself. When I am ready to own my own home I will pay cash. For me it extends into a religious reason as I am a Christian and do not believe that humans have the capacity to sustain an economy based on credit.

save up in cash, buy on credit card, pay if off beforee the end of the month, your credit goes up and your not ever in debt

October is racing by so quickly! My Mom said I was terrible with throwing tantrums as a child. She broke me of them by ignoring me and never giving in. It worked. 🙂
