The plot thickens…….

For the past two years, I’ve been trying to find out the reason behind my loans being rejected because of my credit. Up to that time I hadn’t accrued any credit whatsoever. Frustration kicked in when other people in a similar situation were allowed to get the loans needed to attend school. I was hopping from place to place living with different friends. (God bless them for risking their own housinig for me!) During that time I was extremely distressed about this whole thing not knowing what to do. My education had to be postponed for a later date because of this.

There was a news segment about the free annual credit report that just started for the East Coast. I wanted to check it earlier, but I was completely broke and didn’t have a bank account anymore. Man,  I should’ve checked this thing earlier! It turns out that someone had stolen my identity when I was sixteen or seventeen and racked up in debt. This person owed a  little over than eight hundred dollars to Comcast Cable as well as three thousand and some odd numbers in rent to this company in DC. According to one of the reporting agencies, I was supposed to be 33 years old. Ha! Of course I am trying to get those off my otherwise clean record, but they asked me who it was that stole my identity. Hopefully they’ll believe me.

Looking through all the fine print about putting out a fraud alert made my head spin. Why can’t this whole process be easier. I do remember back then that my guardian lost my vital information about two times. I need help !!!!!!!!!!!

RYN: I agree about the blame- there comes a time where you just have to stop pointing fingers and start trying to fix the situation. I think he spoke out of frustration and anger. But he was promoting a hurricane relief fund, so well ya know.

Also, I didn’t know who was going to die! People kept saying it, but I was like, “No way that’s what ACTUALLY happens, people wouldn’t be that much of jerks…!”
