Getting things done…
Efficiency was a plus today. I went to my old high school in order to have them mail my transcript to the community college. That only took about five minutes to do. Then my mom drove me over to the community college so that I could turn in my application. While going to the cashier’s office to pay them the application fee, it dawned on me that I forgot to go to the bank to pull out twenty dollars. I had to ask my mom for twenty bucks. It was weird going through that whole process because it marks a possibility where I’m able to go to school again- able to have a purpose in life once more.
Now I have to wait for my late W-2 to come in the mail in order for me to fill out the FAFSA accurately. Even though my Pell Grant should take care of most, if not all, of the cost of attendence, I still need to fill out a DCLEAP application just in case. I still need my W-2 and my FAFSA in order to complete the DCLEAP application. Come on W-2! Be swift and hopeful!
I am nervous about this whole plan falling through like it has done in the past. It’s resting in higher hands now. There’s nothing that I can do now.
