The Atlantic

shattered hearts lay scattered beneath broken bridges in your name.

there are no more hills to climb. no more vices whispering of my blame.

dancing there on your sleeve and within your very palm dwells power to destroy nations with one simple flourish of your hand… a batting of an eyelash, an invite to a foreign land ……a hovering shadow from your breasty stance….. warm air from your mouth flowing over my face to remind me and this earth of who is in control of the quakes.

there is a darkness in you that i would like to resist. a false calling to a broken heart to rise up against any harm done.

loud sirens seem soft from a distance until they come closer and very nearly cause deafness to the most sensitive of ears used to hearing such sweet honey dew melodies amid our stride. A shocking wave. A tidal swell. sometimes the good and the bad must collide to ensure calmer shores to come. this truth I lived through her veins and have undeniably been undone.

with this score one final chapter laid to rest makes way for a stronger, brighter day to come.
