 Today i learned what Love is.

what it means to truly love another person.
today i loved you,
and i found where Love is. 
 
it is in the hands. 
it is in the heart. 
it is in the eyes.
 
it is in the backs arch
it is in the light
It is in the Dark.
 
It resides in songs.
It resides in silences
 
it lives in moments 
that stretch so long..
it lives in moments 
you wish would never end.
 
But they do.
and the feeling that comes after..
the emptiness..
it’s you.
 
I learned what Love is today.
where it lives.
where its head does lay.
where it goes to cry…
where its tombe is set …
.. how Love smells and
where the fields are for its grave.
the soft green rolling blankets of onion grass, sunflowers, honeysuckles and bluebonnets
 
I learned how quickly it comes
and then how quickly it can fade.
I learned what Love is today.
 
 
Today I learned what belief is,
and discovered its name is Love. 
 
 
I felt what relief is.. and it too shared that same title.
I felt the world on my shoulders, and it was Love.
Today I learned what it means to bare…
