I will Love Myself

I will love myself

when I am alone.

I will love myself

when I am in crowded rooms.

I will love myself

when the clouds are raging.

I will love myself

when the sun shines blind.

I will love myself when I feel like crying. I will love myself,

when my heart is dieing.

when the lights go out, and when they shine again, I will love myself. 

when the years go by and age settles in,

I will love myself the same as He did then.

For He so Loved me, before I was born, and ever more when He died for all my sins.

I will love myself like no one could other than my Father above.

And if there comes a time I forget, I will look to my Father in Heaven to remind me again.
