 A Promise To My Grandmother.

i will never leave you. 
i will never not answer your call. 
never will a time come where you need me and I will not be there. 
I will love you always above even loving myself.
not because it’s the right thing to do but 
because I know you have done the same for me 
so many times… over and over again. 
I will be your cane in old age so that you wont ever fall. 
I will make you laugh when old memories make you sad.
I will remind you of life and love when age comes and you begin to think of
the years gone by. 
I will forever tell you how much you mean to this family and how
your worth could not be calculated. Not even with all the stars in the sky. 
I will never let you forget all the times you would tell it’s ok and not to cry. 
I will tell you the same thing when ever you need to hear it. 
And when you just need a shoulder to lean on i will be the road for 
your beautiful teary face. 
I will cause you happy tears in your late life.
I will block for you mom. As you have always done for me. 
I am your running receiver. Your quarter back. 
Your point guard and your MVP. 
I am your daughter and I will never leave you alone. 
For so long as God leaves this breath in my lungs, I beg Him to let this be,
