First theater experience for Tahir-3D

So today was a big day for my 2.5 year old son, Tahir. I decided to go to the theater with both my kids while my husband was at an appointment for work. I wanted to see if my son would sit through a whole movie. I thought he might. Anyways, we went to see Megamind 3D and it was awesome. My son got in free so that was good. They gave him a set of glasses and he thought they were so cool. When the movie first started with the previews, Tahir kept yelling, "oooohhh", "aaaaahhh". He thought everything was so fascinating. And then when the 3D action came, there was a scene where a ball came really close to your eyes and Tahir reached out trying to grab it. It was the cutest thing ever. I found I was watching him more than the movie. Everytime something really cool in 3D would happen, Tahir would take his glasses and move them up on his head and then put them back down. He did sit through the movie. He was awesome. After the movie ended he started to fuss a bit and said "more". I guess I can now officially take both my kids to the movies. However, I won’t be doing it too often because it costs a fortune.

Earlier today we went to the park for the remembrance day ceremony. That was great. Afterwards we went by the river to feed the ducks, geese and seagulls and Tahir decided he was going to try to chase the geese but they weren’t scared of him. They stood there and started hissing at him and walking closer. I panicked and started throwing more food, thinking they were going to attack my son. It was fun though. We just had a great day today.
