Busy, Busy, Busy
November 5, 2010
Today was a very busy day for me. Nothing like I thought it would be. I did have a good day however, just did way too much. I volunteered in my daughter, Amira’s, Kindergarten class today and it was great. I loved it. I got to read some stories to the kids, cut up about 100 little birds (that part was not so much fun), help with art (painting) and just watch what they did all day in class. Well, actually Amira only goes from 12-2:30 because her school is still one of the few left that offers half day Kindergarten. It was neat to be in the class and get to learn more about what they did in there all day. After school, I came home and my husband and brother in law were assembling a ceiling fan and the house, of course, was a disaster. My 2.5 year old son, Tahir had terrorized the place while I was gone. It seems anytime I leave the house for however long, when I come home, it’s always a disaster. Tahir got into the baby oil and that was all over the house. So I ended up doing 2 loads of laundry, the second of which I am still waiting to finish drying so I can fold it. Anyways, I was so busy all day I never had time to eat or have my usual coffee so I am a tad bit tired and can’t wait until the last load of laundry is done so I can sit, read, and relax. Man oh man, who would ever think two kids could keep you so busy. I love them to death though.
