Token ring for zoom

So much time wasted before I finally quit.  Interruptions are a time sync, so we stack where we can we batch process our mail et al.

But these meetings forced by the buzzwords that make shareholders think remote is as good as in person.  Fucking time sink when we need to sync ideas instead.

In the good ol days each node had to wait till they had the token to talk.  Then they sent the token back on the wire.  Like a talking stick for devices, or kids. Or a semaphore.

We could learn from children or machines but we persist in thinking we already know the way
