No Cats

DJ did not get a role in Cats.  So there will be no theatre this summer.  She was disappointed, but the plays that were chosen for this season were not as large, castwise, as last year.  Most of the people who were selected were older, with more experience.   By last night she was feeling better about it, thinking of all the things she can do because she doesn’t have play practice or performances to worry about.  Like the 12 yr old state softball tourney in July, the big 4th of July celebration that she missed last year.  More days at the city pool with friends, babysitting with her sister for the neighbor boys. 

We have our tickets and reservations for Boston and I was able to get tickets to a Red Sox game while we are there.  I am going to give them to MR M for father’s day.  I found what is called GoBoston cards that you buy and they admit you to all the tourist/tour things in town.  You pay a fraction of the price you would if you pay for each thing seperately.  You just show your card and in you go.  They are good for tours, boat rides, discounts at poplular restaurants, just about everything you can think of, except tickets to the Red Sox, of course.
