Into the Tech Age

We finally moved into the tech age.  Our local phone company made us an offer we couldn’t refuse.  They bundled our cell phones, local and long distance and internet into one service for a nice price + $100 off if you sign up now.  So sign up we did. 

We now have better cell phone packages, unlimited long distance calling (look out EM, I’ll be calling you a lot more now), and DSL for only $10/month more than we paid for everything before.  Oh, yeah and I got a nifty new little flip phone that takes pictures.  I told them I didn’t want a picture phone, but it was what they were supplying and yes I have already taken pictures. 

Got the DSL hooked up yesterday.  They had told me it would be 10 days before they could get to the house to install, but they showed up yesterday and I had not installed the network card yet, so had to set up the modem myself after I got home, which was after 7:30 cuz the girls had hockey pictures until 7:15, then a quick bite at mickiedees, then drop them off at the church for confirmation and choir.  But it is humming along now.
