Hockey Select *with edit

Just when the light began to show through the end of the tunnel, the tunnel has gotten longer.  The girls were suppose to be done with hockey in a couple of weeks, but…..JD was chosen to be on the MT Select 14U girls!

Great news for her.  What an honor!  Only 20 girls in the whole state were chosen.  But, this means a hockey tournament in Jamestown in early April (Oh, no, did they say April.  What about Tax season, We still haven’t hired anyone new, how can I go, how can I stay…I haven’t discussed any of this with Mr M or her.  I have to go with her, one of the stipulations of my job is no vacation in April before the 15th.)  Oh yeah, did I mention that Mr M volunteered me to be the team manager.  I haven’t agreed or disagreed yet.  (I have walleye problems to deal with, see previous entry).

My heart is beating too fast.  I am so conflicted.  What am I going to do?

*Well I have turned down the manager position on the Select Team.  If it wasn’t tax season, I would say heck yeah!, but I am more practical than that.  I cannot strech that thin.  Mr M and I visited about the timing of the tournament.  He is so supportive.  What ever is to be will be. I am feeling much calmer about it all today.  He said if I cannot go, I cannot go.  There is another tournament the end of April.  If they hire someone here before then Mrs Boss has no problem with me taking the time off.
