Fall is Here

Fall has landed smack dab in the middle of NE MT.  Saturday was cold, windy and rainy.  Sunday it snowed.  It was the earliest recorded measurable snow fall ever.  Of course it didn’t stay, but it got MR M to start the fire.

DJ’s team suffered their first lose last night in soccer.  They have been doing really good.  They lost 0-1.  She said the other team’s goal shouldn’t have counted though, cuz they touched the ball. 

JD’s volleyball team is doing well too.  They have won a few games and are really starting to play the game.  We mom’s were commenting on Sat, how far they have come.  Last year was serve, hit the net, serve, drop on the floor, serve, hit the net…. well you get the idea.  Now they actually volley, set and spike.  They know kills, and digs, and aces.  WOW!

Shall not be long until hockey season is in full swing.  Scheduling has begun and I have offered to be the team manager this year.  It will just simplify things if I do it.  MR M thinks he communicates, but not everyone understands his unstated thoughts (not that I am a mind reader, but I do understand him better than most).  I think that’s a guy thing.  I told you that didn’t I, well no actually you didn’t! HE HE

I gave the doggie a haircut the other weekend, shaved him back pretty good.  The girls said that is why it snowed.  Everytime I give him a cut, it snows.  Pretty neat trick don’t ya think?

Well at least we got some much, much needed moisture. 

The girls are at the airport today, they are having an aviation show and have a blackhawk, f16, b52 and a chinook.  Also many types of small aircraft will be there.  The Chinook flew in last night during the soccer game and came right over the park.  All the kids just stopped and watched it go over.  It was cool.
