A Fine Arab Charger

Dear Diary and all other parties involved…..

 

Jordan has been kvetching about “his own room” for as long as we’ve been swapping spit; thereabouts of some years now.  Oh, sure… the psalter has mutated over the years.  At first it was his own bedroom, yes siree, he needed to maintain the semblance of his own room.  When that disappeared he went on to wail and moan about a music room and how he needed to have a place to practice and maybe even jam on occasion in.

Eventually he went on to needing a room for the TV and Playstation so that no one fucks with his game settings and lord knows what else video geeks need to make their world seem safe. Now he needs a punching bag hanging from a ceiling and a music room I think; I don’t always pay the strictest of attention to him.

 

Sometimes I can be so slow to figure this stuff out. You’d think with all the boys I grew up with i’d catch on much faster.  What he’s saying, trying to say, has been saying to me is…..

MAN CAVE: A room, space, corner or area of a dwelling that is specifically reserved for a male person to be in a solitary condition, away from the rest of the household in order to work, play, involve himself in certain hobbies, activities without interuption. This area is usually decorated by the male that uses it without interferance from any female influence.

MAN CAVE: An emotional sanctuary for men when they’re stressed and need "space" or time away from females, responsibilities, etc.

(man cave: a derogatory term for the vagina

 

as in

 

"she let me stick it in her man cave" )

Uh huh…. so what he’s saying, trying to say, has been saying to me is…..
that he needs

a man….. and is there somewhere please, in the damn house that he could maybe call the man cave…. yeah?

or does he want me to stick it in my….. KIDDING!
