Since Then …
well, that night i was in the studio til 2:30 in the morning. my buddy amy was there til after 3 – she decided it was finally time to go home when people started talking to her, using the band saw, and other things – while not really being there at all. yeah, deffinately time for sleep.
friday i fixed the hole that somone put in my plastic window on my car thursday night … yeah. long story involving police stations, reports, and finding out a new roof would cost $400. so i got some clear, soft vinal and some scilicon in a caulk tube from work, had Mike come over and help me, and together we sewed and sealed the entire window – i just cut out the remaining origional plastic. the fix worked remarkably well – no leaks so far! yay! but by the time we got to the bar for kareoke last night, i thought Athena was going to pop out of my skull, my head hurt so bad. thankfully by saturday morning it was gone, because we left at 7 am to drive down to VA for tom & ivy’s wedding. i slept all the way through ohio. it was wonderful. the weekend was great – the wedding was lovely, although incredibly short – 15 minutes, i swear! the reception was fun; their friends are – eclectic, to say the least – and a bunch of people we got along with swimmingly. l.a.r.p.s, gamers, furrys, geeks – our kinda crowd. 🙂 the drive back was nice as well – the appalachins are beautiful in fall – and we made incredibly good time.
this week’s been okay; i got another headache on wednesday night. it started in the evening right before we went to james’ house, and by the time we had gotten into watching good ol’ Shirlock, i had to run upstairs cuz i thought i was going to throw up. i took the day off work yesterday … slept til 11 when Jon came home from his part-time job to change shirts. got up, worked on my costume til it was time to start dinner. as soon as i stepped outside the house, the headache came back. not nearly as bad as before, but there. made awesome dinner though – shocked some spinach, chopped up some left-over chicken breast and a macintosh apple, and stirfried them a bit with some honey and garlic-herb seasoning. made some garlic bread with a basil and parmasan sourdough loaf, put the stirfry over brown rice, and yum yum. 🙂
now tonight, i’ve got to stay late at work to make up what i can, run home, pick up the wedding presents we brought back for tom and ivy cuz they didn’t have room in their car, drive them over to their appartment, come back home, shower, maybe work on my costume if ken’s date isn’t there and he gives me dirty looks, go to kareoke. tomorrow: school, monitering, meet the reverend, get Jon’s costume, help T&I move, maybe do dinner with T&A, go to donna’s halloween party. Sunday: maybe go to the studio (probably), then do NOTHING!!!!
