Eeep. That does suck. A lot of cell companies will give you a really cheap or free phone just for using their plan. Maybe you could call and ask them.

RYN: well, i do have insurance on my phone and i was planning on getting a replacement just for the hell of it. my current phone is fine though(is a razr). so if i can get a replacement, i’ll send you my current one if you can hold off that long.

what a relief its working 🙂 i dropped my phone in the swimming pool on holiday and had a complete panic attack when it stopped working…. but it worked again in a couple of days xxxxxx

My razr went through the wash. It wasn’t the full cycle though, but it works fine. The screen is a little messed up, but not nearly as bad as I had feared. Still sucks though. :/

ooh, was it a tipsy cell phone drop or a sober one? my genuis of a brother washed one cell phone and took another in the hot tub… so you’re not the only one, if that’s any consolation.

omg you’re luuuuuuuucky!! Thankfully the only thing I have ever dropped in a public toilet was my bus pass, lol. hmm…getting a prescription filled in Canada…well, if it is the one your doc filled out, they will not do it because it has to be a canadian doc. And to go see a canadian doc and then get it filled out will cost you probably as much here as it would there. 🙁

Jon had a sh*tty day yesterday as well AND his cell phone broke to top it all off but it wasn’t water damage. huh ryn: very similar. same results

I did that once kind of… except I had my phone in my purse… with a large container of vodka. And, being the drunk that I am didn’t screw the cap on tight. I found my phone in two inches of vodka at the bottom of my purse. When I let it dry, it worked for a few more months. My advice to you…. start saving for a replacement. Lol!
