*raises eyebrow* oh really…

so… lets see.  today i have to… um…  oh right.  i have nothing.

except a pesky performance tonight…….  lol 

just kidding.  tonight is our third performance.  i’m kind of excited though.  i did a small two hour class last night on commedia dell’arte.  it was amazing.  all about moving, and body positioning.  it was great!

so i’m really excited to see how Lucia and i use that tonight in the show.  all about status.  who has the higher status, who has the lower status.

i got home last night and started thinking about what status Don José has and what he’s fighting for.  it seems to me that he has none.  but he fights for status from carmen the entire show.  and finally, when she doesn’t give in to him, he kills her.  ending her status of course, but at the same time his own.

i’m interested in how that will affect the performance.  YAY! 🙂

one a slightly scarier note.  two of our cast is going to be missing tonight.  they both had deaths in the family and are in different parts of the country right now.  so i’m interested to see whats going to happen tonight.  we had to restage the fight between Don José and Escamillo last night.  its now John and i instead of David and i (John is the Escamillo from the other cast).  the biggest problem was that i’m left handed and the other José isn’t.  so… yeah.  i don’t think its going to look as real as it has in the past.  but… oh well.

my parents and sister are coming tonight.  plus my aunt and a few other people i think.  should be a good turn out i hope.

anyway… i’m going to go… er…  well… i have no idea.  play piano?  play WOW (yes, i’m a geek)?  bah… i don’t know.
