out out damn spot!

so, we’re getting ready to do Macbeth at the opera house.  it opens the second week of april.

this is turning out to be a hard opera… but also very satisfying.  i don’t know what it is about this opera, but i am really enjoying it, and can’t wait to start staging it (next monday).  its going to be fabulous.

also, i’ve been discussing with my fam… i’m thinking about flying two of my relatives out to see the opera i’m in next year.  they are very dear to me (even if i’ve only met one of them once).  i’ve been in contact with them for probably 10 years.  i’d love if they could come out and see it.

so yeah…  what else.  i’ve been practicing like a mad man.  i’m about to go torture myself again by jogging (i did two days ago and my legs are STILL screaming at me…)  i’ll just have to take it easy.  i have my little mp3 player, (if you haven’t seen it, this is it):

i love it.  cheap, and it works great!  so yeah.  i had originally bought it to learn operas with.  i haven’t quite done that yet however because it only came with a 5 inch cord.  so, i bought a 6ft cord that should get here today.  so, then the downloading can begin!

anyway… i’m off to jog.  i’ll maybe write something later if i think of anything worth writing.

p.s. if anyone has an idea for a story i could write, let me know…

Jogging. *shudder* Seriously. If you walk fast, it’s just as effective (or moreso) than jogging and it’s lower impact, so easier on your joints.
