First day at work (for lack of a better title)

I just read through my other entry.  It makes me laugh that I felt/feel this way in such a strange situation, eh?  At least, it made me laugh.

The best part is, this feeling hasn’t gone away.  I’m in love with the feeling of being love.  hee hee…

Lets see…  today was my first day of real work.  I just got a job at Fred Meyer as a Graveyard Freight Specialist.  (gotta love pointless job titles that only serve to glorify your work… lol)  however, today I worked 5am-2pm.  It wasn’t all that bad actually.

Basically all I do is shuffle things around in the back room and split up the incoming freight that needs to go out on the shelves and stock it… WHEN THERE ARE NO CUSTOMERS IN THE STORE!!!!! WOO HOO!

However, I’ll be honest… I’m a people person and I kind of miss the customer service portion of my job.  Go figure…

Anyway, today was good, and hopefully Wednesday will be just as good or better!

take care all!

p.s. thanks for all the notes!

Oooh, first day. How’d it go? And ryn – good to hear from you, too 😉 And thanks for the advice. I think I’ll try some of it tonight 😉 😀 – Nicki

Hope the new job works out for you. You know, I’ve left you a few notes now..and you’ve never responded. I don’t know if I should take it personally or not.

The MOST pointless job title out there: Calling someone who works at Subway a “sandwich artist”. Please. Today. Hug Someone You Love.

I am so glad that you are better! I like when you are happy! 😀

I know how you feel about your job, when I worked in an office in front of a computer all day I really missed customer interaction as well. Just not the complaints… hehe

Aww, thanks for the note. I hope you get a chance to read my diary too. 🙂
