12/13/04
i’m really sick today. not mentally (at least, not any more than usual). i feel sick. my stomach is doing backflips… my head feels like i decided to place it in a vice-grip, and my whole body just seems to ache… you know, like you just ran for 20 miles and all your muscles are rubbery… (not that i could EVER run 20 miles… but i know the feeling well from biking).
on top of all that i am so tired, i literally cannot keep my eyes open. i’ve fallen asleep here at work probably 2-4 times? i fell asleep at one time, not sure when, and when i opened my eyes it was 12:09… time for lunch. but didn’t really feel like eating so i went out to my car and just closed my eyes… opened them a few seconds later… BAM! 1:15… *sigh*
that happened to me last night. i lay down in bed around 10:30-11pm (can’t remember). I lay in bed looking at my clock. I blinked my eyes and the alarm was going off so i hit it and roll over. same thing… by the time i can roll over the alarm is going off again (at least it felt that way). has that ever happen to you? its the worst thing ever.
i remember when my ex and i lived together and were sleeping in the same bed. i normally don’t sleep well, so i used to lay in bed and just watch her sleep. and for some reason, i could do that all night and still feel refreshed in the morning.
anyway…
okay, i just fell asleep again. lol at least i’m not smashing my forehead into my desk. that would suck. anyway, getting back to work…

p.s. i fell asleep again before i could submit this entry… and one of the project managers came to see my boss (who is at lunch) and came into my cubicle and there i was, sitting stark still, with my eyes closed looking right at this screen… lol oops… (he laughed, so i could care less. lol i’m a temp. who cares!)

Vitamin C…go buy bunches of pineapple orange juice. Then drink it and have some chicken broth. Everything will be all better. Phone got turned on today. Aced my Crim Justice final (the one that I was studying for and feel asleep in the library…). Keeping you in my prayers.

wow, i cant remember the last time i was that tired, except the one time my friend and i stayed up 24 hours cutting out stff from magazines and decor-ing her room, her dad brought us to church with him the next day and we both were sleeping! than, they made it all dark for this one song, and we were OUT, lmao… mmmm sleep, lend me some sleepiness… i can never sleep at night, anymore 🙁 love,

RYN: 🙂 Don’t envy me … just start making small changes to lose weight. Lower your sugar intake, semi-skinned milk as opposed to full cream, grilled food over fried, cut out fast food (everywhere has nice sandwiches these days!), if you can walk instead of taking bus/car or get off one stop early and walk, stairs instead of elevators. But even with all the advice it’s a decision you have (c)

(c) a decision you have to make for yourself. It took me close to a year to finally get off my fat ass and do something about it!! And I had family and friends telling me they were concerned for months before!! In your case you need to really decide if you want to be serious about being an opera singer and then getting up and making the change! *hugs* You’ll get there – I did! 🙂

Oh – another thing – since I’m on a roll here! LOL Contrary to popular belief in order to lose weight you HAVE to eat! Have 3 meals a day and ALWAYS have breakfast – it really is the most important meal of the day and saves you from over eating the rest of the day. Drink lots of water – broken record I know but it really does work. And learn your body’s signs – hunger might be thirst!

I have a link on my diary frontpage to my 6 week slimming session hell – I don’t think any were deleted with the hacker attack. You can see what types of food I ate but it was the exercise that did it for me – the diet was actually bad for me! What I eat now is pretty much everything except fast food and deserts but I do stick to low carb/starch and none at dinner.
