Essay 2: Online Identity.
Ugh. I have approximately twelve hours to write a 1,500-word essay on online identity. To be honest, it’s an easy assignment. Three sources, MLA format, clear thesis, all talking about how the internet affects my generation, and vice versa.
I’m really only complaining because I want to put it off just a little longer. I am an absolute procrastinator. How on earth am I going to survive college?!
I dunno. Maybe next week I’ll try to be a better student. I mean, there are ten (?) weeks left in the semester. I may as well make them good ones. I don’t want to start college with mediocre grades — and at this point, I’ll be lucky to get mediocre. I am so behind on my homework, especially math. Oh, jeez.
No good can come of this.
So yesterday, I went down to Thousand Trails with Casey for Melissa’s quince. It was so much fun, and she looked so pretty. Her colour scheme was all white and bright orange — very Melissa. I decided that I love the pants that mariachi dudes wear, I danced with her (on camera! Not my forte), and I told scary stories to Jessica. All in all, a great night.
I spent the night down there with Casey and her mom, and we came back this morning. All of us spent most of the day in pajamas, pretty much up until the time my mom came and pick me up. And, actually, I’m still in my pajamas. Honestly, I spent most weekends in them. I spend four days a week stressing myself out to the point where I don’t want to wear anything else from Friday to Sunday. It’s quite awful.
Well, I’m off to work on my essay. This includes "research". You know, getting caught up on the internet. 🙂
Don’t worry, I’ve spent pretty much my entire holidays in pajamas except for those rare hours where Mum drags me out of the house 🙂 What’s a quince? (I could just google it but, ya know) Have fun with your essay!
