They Say

They say that I’m crazy
They don’t know what they’re talking about

It’s building up inside me
Go take a deep breath and let it out

They take you across the room
When I happen to be around

I want to run straight to you
But every word I hear says I’m losing ground

They say that you’re crazy
That you should wait and fight to hold out

“You got a look in your eye
“Go take a deep breath and slow it down”

I don’t think they will listen
They want to bitch and moan and talk out loud

We want to get on the inside
But they keep on a’ pushing us out

I get up every single morning
Thinking of the things we coulda done last night

Feels like a flailing motion
Like losing some invisible fight

They say that we’re crazy
They don’t know what they’re talking about

I think the answer is maybe
Maybe we should just get outta town

And run
Out

Before we’re found

Just something quick and silly. Hope you don’t mind.

Not silly! I love, love, love when you write! You have such a great talent…I really do appreciate your entries and sharing your creativeness! Thank you! This is one of my favorites! RYN-yeah, I feel a little sorry for her too..she was under so much pressure and she did not hear the question right..still funny though. I could see myself doing this…I am not a good public speaker either!

This inspires me so much that I want to start writing again…

=) You’re quite welcome!
