mini wayfarer’s almanac

Well, there goes that month. Funny, I always never seem to remember much of my Januarys. I guess they tend to pale in the shadow of December.

In February, there’s my brother F’s birthday… and that other day everyone seems to make much ado about (no, not Groundhog Day).

My Marches, I usually get caught up in March Madness.

April, I’m thinking of Easter.

May is Mother’s day (or month, in some cases)… I also start thinking of summer and look forward to the silly summer movies.

There are usually lots of distractions in June, July, and August plus good vacation/get out of the building weather.

September, I get into the college football season. Plus the mom’s birthday. And the nephew’s.

There’s costume and candy day in October, of course. Plus more football.

November starts the holiday season – well, for some, it starts in October. Which also means getting ready to eat a lot of food. And there’s that birthday thing.

December is pretty much busy with holiday things. A few birthdays – AA, the sister in law, and the dad.

Then it’s back to January. Ho hum. Maybe January is the recovery month in all this. Hmm.
