The Windmill
For many years I have been here
Keeping watch o’er my land
The storms have raged and winds have blown
But still strong and true I stand
My arms turn round as I grind
A labor of love for my home
The world around me changes as I work
How fast the years have flown
Yet I remain here somehow
And I will be here some years more
A silent witness of history
And a symbol of time gone by before
