direction in life.

more and more, i don t want to do lighting anymore.

— ironic, being that i’m on the verge of getting a big lighting design for next year… eh.

Now a days i want to stage manage, i want to choreograph, i want to work with dancers…

stage management i love since i love the dancers/actors/people.  in the tech world, you don’t get to interact with anyone… you just watch from afar and treat the people like objects on the stage.

its my craving for personal contact, personal connection.  sometimes i think i’ll leave school and not have a single friend or contact in the world.

choreography is just a passion.  I dont really know if i’m any good..l.. i guess it depends if you look at it for entertainment or for artistic expression… and really, i dont have anyone around here who can honestly tell me if that semi-randomness i’m putting on stage is worth anything beyond 2 minutes of entertainment equivilent to television commercials.

but i have all these choreographic ideas… tons of show concepts, dance concepts, music/live ideas, they just run through me non-stop…. i need to get some of them out… AH!  I think next year i’ll be doing some studio dance recitals or whatnot… probably one each semester… ya know… only 20 minutes of work or so but enough to get some of this stuff outside of my head.
