Revived!

Good morning OD!  It’s about 7am.  Oh how I’ve missed you!  I’ve had some terrible computer problems lately and that took me off line for a while.  Then I just got an iPhone 4 from Verizon (love!) and now I hardly ever get on the computer at home anymore.  My phone has totally replaced it.

Most all things have been well lately.  Mark and I resigned our lease for another year and I suppose that’s a good thing.  Somehow I think we wern’t on the same page when moving here with that.  I honestly thought we would live here for 1 year and then try to buy a house, especially since we both have jobs we like and plan on staying in the area for some time.  But he’s right in that we shouldn’t buy until we’re married or at least engaged and that is probably where I missed the boat.  Part of me thought we’d be THERE already, and I keep telling myself it’s OK that we’re not.  There’s just a lot of presure to get married when you’re our age and together for almost 5 years!

Phew, first entry back and I’m already talking about Mark and getting married!  Why wouldn’t I, right?  Haha. 

Work is good, great really.  My boss and I get along great.  Right now he is on vacation for 2 weeks so I’ve had a lot of down time where I can catch up on other work and get to know some of my co workers.  I went out for happy hour last week with a bunch of marketing people, a VP, 2 managers and an administrator.  It was good and since I want to get into the marketing dept at some point, it’s good for me to get to know them.  It was fun and it seems like the administrator and I have befriended each other.  She was nice and we’re about the same age with a lot of things in common.  We’re going to hang out again soon and I’m really happy about it.

Throughout my day when something comes up I always thing, ahh I need to write about that!  And then when I finally make time to get infront of the computer, I’m at a loss for words.  Maybe I should start making notes to myself.  That’s a good idea!  I’ll put them in my iPhone.
