the weekend

The weekend was pretty good. i got my car back Saturday morning. I would have been able to pick it up Friday evening but i wasn’t able to get it because they called me when it was almost 5pm and it was too late for me to get it before I went to work at UPS.

I took it out on the open road. Let me tell ya it was GREAT! The new clutch is actually performing better than the original was when I bought the car brand new. The timing of the clutch and gas needed to be readjusted. I peeled out a few times from a dead stop. I am also confident that since it is a newer clutch, Jen will have an easier time getting a handle of driving this car. If she does, we may only need to sell the two door car. That’s something we’ll need to discuss.

Saturday night Jen and I went to NoCo to see their production of the Music Man. I got my free tickets since I work for the school. Jen hadn’t seen Music Man before. i told her she’ll recognize the theme song, "76 trombones led the big parade. . ." she did recognize it when the live orchestra started to play it. We had a good time. Even saw our old neighbor there. Her brother directed the musical.

Sunday Jen worked and I went to church alone. My bro and his wife came over afterwards. We celebrated my sil’s birthday. And we enjoyed watching the Colts beat that pats. And to top it off, the bears beat the Lions!

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the third trimester. Little Maddie is in the home stretch now. She’s almost here! She’s almost here! She’s almost here! Jen has her second baby shower this weekend. This one is being put on by my family. Last month she went to Chicago for the shower her family hosted. My prayer is that my parents get us the crib. I think that is the most important thing we need, and it is one  of the higher end priced items we’ve register for. But then there is always Christmas. Last minute purchasing before Maddie’s born

I can’t wait until I am able to hold her. Tea parties w/ daddy are right around the corner!

November 3, 2008

RYN: We went and saw The Blue Man Group. It’s one of Jeremy’s favorites, and he was ecstatic that he got to see them. That made me happy. It was his anniversary gift from me. We stayed in the Hampton Hotel…. HUGE bed and it was so comffyyyy. It’s sad to see this vacation end, but I know it has to at some point. I’ll write all about it.
