one month summer vacation

I am done with the summer term…well almost. I am working on 4 of 8 essays that are for my take home exams. These are for two separate classes with 4 apiece. I am working on the more difficult essays first especially since they are due at 4:30pm today. The others are easier and are due at midnight tonight. So I have time.

Now I am at my in-laws in Chicago. Once I get these papers done, I will be able to just relax here for the rest of the week. And the next three weeks I will have off before the fall term begins. 

I am excited about this fall. i am the vice-president for the student council. There will be more meetings and what not to attend, but it won’t be too bad. There is a small scholarship for my participation so I am not going to complain about that!

Also my wife and I will be attending pre-vicarage meetings because these will help us both work together as we get closer to vicarage and also into the pastorate. It seems to be a busy year but I am excited that I can keep busy and be more involved in the campus community than i had been in my undergrad or even in high-school.
