Care taking and pizza

We had our first day care taking. the previous caretaker didn’t leave the cleaning supplies in the closets she was supposed to and two of the 3 closets have a bunch of her crap. And she was to have vacated yesterday. We had to make due with what we have of our own supplies. She may have left all the stuff in the unit she was last cleaning.

Last night my SIL made some pizza and she had doubled the recipe because she wanted to make two pies when the recipe alone makes two. So she had extra dough so she had extra thick crust and some extra to make bread sticks. Then she realized that she hadn’t put any yeast in it. So she proceeded to make it as is. It was crap. heavy gut rock. Also it wasn’t cooked through. This was the second time we had pizza there and she had botched it. Last time she tried baking two pies at once and neither one cooked all the way through. Sometimes she seems to be both absent minded and impatient when it comes to cooking. I am not overly impressed with her cooking. But I don’t want to hurt her feelings so I just eat a little just to be a good guest.

So tonight I had to make my own pizza just to make up for the bad pizza we had last night. And we use the same recipe. Boy did my pizza turned out very well. It was delicious. I don’t want to brag but it was goooood.
