grandmaster flash and the furious five

Ahhh. I get so frustrated when I read my writings.

I want to express myself better. I need to write more.

What struck me most today. The sixth period was noisy and slightly goofy. But I had to deviate from my lesson plan.

The recent addition who proclaimed he’s dropping out actually stayed awake long enough to participate in a discussion. Or in my room “Free for all!”

I couldn’t just stick to the “Enlightened Despots” when I heard him ask if Nazis were Jews. I mean we’ve all heard the ignorant “Hitler was Jewish” myth. BUT I gotta stop everything when I hear that Nazis were Jews. I gave an impromptu lesson on pogroms and usury laws and anti-Semitism. I heard one moan that Jews make up too much of the history books. But for the most part I was pretty happy with my ability to pontificate.

Anyways some students were shocked by this guy “Adolf Hitler” and one wondered if he was still alive.
